Meet Our Newest SLP: Kate!

The Amina Grace Speech & Language Program

We are so excited to continue providing free 1:1 speech and language sessions to our participants through the Amina Grace Speech and Language Program that is made possible through our partnership with Binghamton University.

This fall, we are welcoming a new SLP to the Playhouse- Kate! Here is a bit about Kate:

“I received my BA from the University at Buffalo in 2020 and my MS from Ithaca College in 2022. Fun fact, I

am currently in the process of completing my Clinical Fellowship year. I am super excited to be a part of Binghamton University and GiGi’s Playhouse! My clinical experience includes evaluation and treatment of individuals across the lifespan. I have developed a strong interest in social communication, communication modalities, counseling, and complex communication needs. Clients, caregivers, and family members are my utmost importance when conducting therapy sessions. I like to use a collaborative, evidenced-based approach when evaluating and treating individuals. I strongly believe the importance of making therapy fun and functional! Outside of Speech-Language Pathology I like to be outside, play sports, travel, and spend time with friends! I am looking forward to meeting you and being a part of this team!”
