Leaps & Bounds at GiGi’s Playhouse – Pumpkin Fun!

by Nicole Deters

This month, GiGi’s Playhouse hosted a special pumpkin-themed Leaps & Bounds, and it was a hit! Perfectly timed for Halloween, our participants enjoyed sensory play, fun songs, and festive activities all centered around the season’s favorite vegetable – pumpkins!

Nicole, Payton’s mom, shared:
“Leaps & Bounds was pumpkin themed, perfect for Halloween! We always sing our welcome song that Payton loves to sing and clap to! We read a few pumpkin-themed books, counted 5 little pumpkins on a gate, and had sensory bins with pumpkins and grass! We always end with some playtime in the playroom which Payton LOVES. She even got to decorate and take home her own pumpkin. Payton loves GiGi’s Playhouse and always gets excited to go because she knows it’s going to be a fun time!”

We love seeing the excitement and joy that Leaps & Bounds brings to our families! Whether it’s counting pumpkins or decorating them, these sessions offer sensory-rich, hands-on experiences designed to encourage development in motor skills, socialization, and creativity. We can’t wait for the next themed session!
