We are riding the Mosaic train once again for our Gala to be held on March 9th

In 2012, we held our 1st annual “i have a voice” Gala, one of our main fundraisers.   Our goal for our 1st Gala was to keep it fun with a bit of whimsical style.  This resulted in many people who love GiGi’s Rockford – donors, board members, staff members, people who participate in our programs, parents and community members – coming together to create our beautiful whimsical centerpieces, our Gazing Balls made out of bowling balls and mosaic tile.  Because our Gala is a “fundraiser” we sold these centerpieces and were they a hit!  The results of 50 Gazing Balls making almost $5,000 to the bottom line of our event.

The committee decided to ride the Mosaic train another year so…… for our 2nd annual “I have a voice” gala to be held on March 9th we are making mosaic vases at the playhouse as seen below.

If you are willing to help us with our fundraiser, here are the dates we will be gathering at the playhouse “getting our craft on” as one mama says.  We are still looking for donations of mosaic tiles and glue.
