Happy Mother’s Day

So many emotions can come with Mather’s Day and I sincerely hope that each Mom can remember a wonderful memory of your own Mom or just being a Mom. Raising children in today’s world is hard. But the reward is great. I do remember when my daughter was 4 and I asked her what she wanted to be  when she grew up and she wanted to be a Mom just like me. That totally touched my heart! I often thought I was not measuring up to what a Mom should be or do. But by my daughter saying those words to me spoke volume to me, I must have done something right!

So as Mom’s, I encourage all of us to keep looking for all those special moments with our kids even when we feel we are filled with so many burdens. We worry about out kids.We have sleepless nights thinking about our kids. We love them so much and we want the best for them.  This quote says it all: “With tremendous burdens often come enormous gifts. The trick is to identify the gifts and the glory in them.”  Dr. Maya Shetreat-Klein

I wish blessings to all the Moms out there this weekend and always.
