Want to get a jump on World Down Syndrome Day festivities in the Portland Area? Come join GiGi’s Playhouse Portland for an informational hardhat tour of the first Down syndrome achievement center in the Northwest. RSVP below to be one of 50 lucky registrants to go home with a pair John’s Crazy Socks to wear on World Down Syndrome Day.

Volunteers will be available from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm on March 16th to:

  • Host tours of each area of the playhouse: adult education and social areas, therapeutic play areas for children, learning labs for math and literacy tutoring, a teaching kitchen for adults, and a GiGiFIT gym for all ages.
  • Share information regarding GiGi’s FREE programs: at opening and in future phases.
  • Host a volunteer information table to discuss volunteer opportunities in the playhouse.
  • Provide families with the information they need to prepare for GiGi’s Grand Opening in 2024.

Thank you for helping us make GiGi’s Playhouse Portland a place of education, inspiration and belief in and for the community of individuals and families that experience Down syndrome or similar conditions.
