Orangetheory Fitness Fundraiser for GIGI’s Playhouse

2015-08-24_03.40.59

GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix has a Mission to increase positive awareness of Down Syndrome through campaigns, educational programs, and by empowering individuals with Down Syndrome and their families and the community.  We know that by helping individuals with Down Syndrome reach their highest potential, we can change outdated perceptions that people may have.  The end result is a world that is empowered with knowledge, compassion, and inspiration – what a better place for all of us.  GiGI’s Playhouse relies on the donations from family, friends, and the business community to operate.  It is a non profit organization which is 99% volunteer based so contributions are applied to programs which are free of charge to our families and general operating expense.

Recently, the Orangetheory Fitness locations throughout the Greater Phoenix Area organized a Dri-Tri fundraiser to support GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix.  Some of our kids from GiGi’s Playhouse participated in this weekend of events. A huge thank you to Orangetheory Fitness for raising close to $30,000 for GiGi’s Playhouse.  A special ackowledgement goes to Lesley Robertson, a Board Member and co-owner of several Orangetheory locations.  Lesley was able to get most of the locations in The Greater Phoenix Area involved.

Thank you Orangetheory Fitness for your commitment, hard work, and successful fundraiser.  You are making a huge different in the lives of many of our families.  GiGI’s loves Orangetheory Fitness!
