Sumner County is Growing! Meet Hayley Maurer!

When we first starting thinking of offering programs out in Sumner County we had big dreams!  We are fortunate enough to have a wonderful space at Northfield Church. Our incredible volunteers and families are always ready to go on Tuesdays evenings for GiGi’s programming. We knew we could offer more for our Sumner County families! In order to do that we needed to have a dedicated person who focused solely on Sumner County.  With that we are THRILLED to announce that Hayley Maurer will be joining the GiGi’s Nashville staff as our Sumner County Site Coordinator!

Hayley has lived and worked in the Nashville area for most of her life, and moved with her family to Sumner County in 2019. Since graduating from Belmont University in 2011, she has worked with many arts nonprofits and small businesses in Nashville. This has allowed her to understand and serve the diverse communities around her. As a parent to a child with Down syndrome, Hayley has seen how important and enriching GiGi’s programming is to families and individuals in the Down syndrome community. She hopes to use her skills and enthusiasm to help the GiGi’s impact grow. Hayley spends most of her free time with her husband, Justin, and two kids, Jack and Rosemary. She enjoys attending local theatre and music events with her family. She is thrilled to be a part of the GiGi’s mission in Sumner County.

We are so excited to have Hayley join us and can’t wait to see how GiGi’s Nashville in Sumner Country starts to grow!
