Volunteer Spotlight: Morgan and Zeki of GiGi Prep

Morgan – Program Leader

My name is Morgan Precour! I am a 2nd-year student at Mount Mary University where I plan to graduate in December 2021 with my master’s in occupational therapy! I grew up in Elm Grove, WI and I earned my undergrad at UW-Madison (Go Badgers!) before coming back to the Milwaukee area. I first learned about GiGi’s Playhouse from a friend at UW-Madison. She shared with me how cool GiGi’s was and I could not agree more! This summer I am leading the GiGi Prep and in-person Teen Tastic programs with my Mount Mary classmate, Zeki. I am excited to talk about self-advocacy, social communication, and transitional skills while having fun! During my free time I enjoy playing with my dog, Cosmo, waterskiing, cooking, cheering on Wisconsin sports teams, and spending time with my friends and family. I am so excited to learn more about you all in the upcoming weeks!

Zeki – Program Leader

Zeki AbuLughod is an Occupational Therapy student at Mount Mary University. He’s excited to be facilitating programming with GiGi Prep and Teen Tastic this summer! Zeki enjoys learning and experimenting with new recipes, both sweet and savory. One of his favorite roles is being an uncle to two nieces and a nephew! He’s earned his 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo, teaching at the Special Needs Academy of Martial Arts in Grafton. He loves rock climbing, frisbee, and playing Spikeball with whoever enjoys it and is always willing to introduce it to anyone who wants to learn!

These two have helped to launch our brand new career development program, GiGi Prep, by taking our adults to a new level of planning and personal accomplishments. They also support the adults weekly for the summer session of GiGiFIT and are leading our teens in new interactive games and activities at Teen Tastic.
