One-On-One Tutoring
Our FREE 1:1 Literacy and 1:1 Math programs are specifically designed for individuals with Down syndrome ages 3 through adulthood. Trained volunteers teach along with purposeful progressions that build confidence and mastery. Families are provided with practical activities to continue learning at home.
Virtual Book Club
Book Club is an extension of the GiGi’s literacy program. Participants (ages 10+) read a chapter book independently or with support to increase comprehension, sequencing, and vocabulary skills. Weekly discussions focus on character development, prediction, and problem-solving. Students gain confidence in sharing with peers.
- To enroll in Book Club, register for virtual literacy tutoring on Tuesdays, 7-8pm
- Chapter books will be sent to registered participants
- This virtual program meets on Microsoft Teams for 1 hour each week during the same session dates as the tutoring program
