Gratitude in Action: A Heartfelt Thank You to Castle Senior Living!

Last month, our Playhouse was filled with smiles, generosity, and a whole lot of heart as we welcomed a special group from Castle Senior Living. Their visit wasn’t just a drop-off—it was a celebration of kindness and community.

Castle Senior Living has made a year-long commitment to support GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee by donating items from our wish list throughout the entire calendar year. And they’re already off to an incredible start! As you can see in the photo, our table was overflowing with donations—everything from wooden building sets and art supplies to washable markers, puzzles, and paper goods.

But what made the moment truly special was the presence of the Castle residents and team members who delivered the items personally. Seeing generations come together, united by a shared mission of acceptance and inclusion, was a beautiful reminder of the power of community. Their smiles, stories, and heartfelt care touched us all.

These donations directly support our FREE therapeutic and educational programs for individuals with Down syndrome. Supplies like these fuel creativity in our art classes, learning in literacy tutoring, and joy in every program we offer.

To everyone at Castle Senior Living—thank you for believing in our mission and for showing up with open arms (and full boxes!). Your kindness is not only meeting a need, it’s spreading joy and making a lasting impact.

💛 We are so grateful.
