Friendships Forged through Down Syndrome and GiGi’s Playhouse Houston

Davis and Theo were born three days apart, in the same hospital, served in the same NICU and coincidentally had the same pediatrician.  In a wonderful gesture, the boy’s pediatrician connected their mothers to support one another in their Down syndrome journeys.  This journey lead them to our sister Playhouse in Sugarland and subsequently lead to the desire and success of opening GiGi’s Playhouse Houston.

Theo and Davis are best buds.  Confidants.  Family. 

It is only appropriate on “International Friendship Day” that we highlight these two brave silly boys whose friendship fostered the opening of our Playhouse and has grown within our Playhouse walls.

Cheers to all of our Playhouse pals, and the friendships forged through the adversity and beautiful successes of our Down syndrome community.
