Blending their musical and singing talents, songwriting skills, passion, and high energy, the Empowerment Through Music team (comprised of Harvey Rich – or “Mr. Harvey”—and his daughter Darrian Rich) strives to create a welcoming, positive, and affirming environment in which participants can connect with their emotions and have fun moving to positive, upbeat music.
This father-daughter duo performs songs about shared experiences that unify and bond us despite our differences. They have taken their show to numerous schools and after-school programs, and to organizations helping individuals with special needs. They bring a message that encourages anti-bullying, self-acceptance, and kindness to others while helping listeners make sense of their feelings.
