Lace Up Your Running Shoes!

RegisterRegistration is officially open for the 3rd Annual HRC Fitness Charity 5K & 1 Mile Walk benefiting GiGi’s Playhouse Hillsborough! Held on Sunday, October 2, registration is $25 for the 5K and 1 Mile walk now through the end of July, and increases to $30 on August 1.

After the race is the Dash for Down Syndrome, a 25-yard free race, it is all inclusive and open to all ages.

Last year the race raised over $20,000 for the Playhouse, double we had raised the year before. This year we hope to again pass last year’s amount, so that we can continue to offer free therapeutic, educational and social programs individuals of all ages with Down syndrome.

The top male and female finishers for the 2015 HRC Fitness Charity 5K came in with a time of 20:04 and 22:02, respectively. Can you beat that? Register today at RunSignUp.com, and after registering, be sure to follow the 5K Facebook page for training tips!
