Participant Spotlight: Teagan in Literacy Tutoring

Teagan is a first grader that just started Literacy tutoring this Winter and has also eagerly signed up for Spring. On her Spring application Teagan’s mom, Christine, wrote: “Teagan has gained a tremendous amount of confidence in her sounding out of words. She is starting to read simple stories at school.” We were so excited to hear this news! Our literacy program is meant to be a support to the great work being done at our schools. Christine also added: “I’ve seen such a change since we started [literacy tutoring] and so have her teachers!” We love hearing this kind of feedback from our parents.
