Volunteer Spotlight: Isabella Witulsk

GiGi’s Playhouse Fort Wayne is 99 percent volunteer-led. Each year, we host multiple high school and college students for internships in our Playhouse. Read more about our incredible interns and the work they’re doing to assist with our free, purposeful programs in our volunteer spotlight series.

Tell us a little bit about yourself – the basics, year in school, extracurricular activities, etc.

 I am a senior at Purdue Fort Wayne studying Human Services. My concentration area is in Divinity and I am looking forward to a career within the Fort Wayne-South Bend Catholic Diocese. My hobbies include anything with sports and spending time with family and friends!

Why did you choose GiGi’s Playhouse Fort Wayne for your internship?

For my internship this year, I had the privilege of being placed at Gigi’s Playhouse! I have been so lucky to gain experience at this incredible place full of laughter and happiness! I really enjoy our Executive Director, Mandy Drakeford’s tips and expertise on the management side of Non-Profit.

What do you enjoy about interning at GiGi’s Playhouse Fort Wayne?

Getting to learn more about how businesses run is really interesting to me and I look forward to taking this experience and growing from it!

What is your favorite project or activity you’ve been a part of so far at the Playhouse?

My favorite program that I have gotten to help with is Cooking Club! It is such a great time to catch up and meet new participants and eat good food!
