GiGi’s Genesis Health Bar Expands Career Training with Food Truck Fridays

From our GiGi’s at Home virtual programs to our new partnership with All-American Stores, GiGi’s Playhouse Fort Wayne has found several silver linings throughout the past year and a half. While the pandemic reduced foot traffic to our GiGi’s Genesis Health Bar during 2020 and early 2021, our team brainstormed ways to to expand our career training services for adults with Down syndrome while reaching the broader community. In order to attract more customers while providing meaningful training experiences, our team launched Food Truck Fridays in May this year and will continue to host Food Trucks on Fridays through the end of September.

Each Friday, local Food Truck owners invite several of our Ambassadors onto their trucks to work with them from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in our parking lot. Read more about this exciting new partnership from Input Fort Wayne.
