From Student to Master

David is a man on a mission and won’t stop at anything until he gets to where he wants to go. David was one of the first participants to graduate from GiGi University and hasn’t stopped working hard to accomplish his goal of becoming a martial arts instructor. He began taking classes with Sensei Basche at Basche’s Martial Arts and quickly realized that he had found his passion in life. David internalizes the teachings of self control and focuses on the movements during his practice. David gets incredibly excited when anyone asks questions about martial arts and never hesitates to tell anyone that he can break boards with his hands. If given the okay, he will demonstrate some of his sweet martial arts moves for anyone willing to watch.

David’s dream of being an instructor came true when Sensei Basche asked David to co-teach a demonstration class at the Playhouse during the grand opening of GiGi’s Studio Boutique. In front of a Playhouse filled with people, David lead exercises with professionalism and the intensity of a seasoned instructor. He ended the demonstration by impressing everyone with his high kicks!

David is showing people of all abilities that dreams do come true. A huge thank you to Sensei Basche for taking the time to teach David martial arts and mindfulness. The teachings of mindfulness have trickled over into David’s internship at GiGi’s Studio Boutique. He has become a top salesman and, as seen on our Facebook page, he attended his first sales meeting last week! We wish David all of the best in his internship and on his journey to becoming a martial arts instructor.
