A Colorful Life

Our Playhouse has revamped our thank you notes and we wanted to take a second to introduce you to the artist behind the colorful, one-of-a-kind acknowledgements. The following is what he would like to share with you.

My name is Joseph and I am 24 going on 25. Before I got started with abstract art, I liked coloring books. I used to only use two colors. My mom told me to use more colors than red and black. That is when I started doing abstract art. I was 22 then. When I was in GiGi U, I could practice abstract art. My friend, Haley, a high school intern, handed me a piece of paper and I showed her how I do abstract art. Now, my art is used for thank you cards for people who donate things to our Playhouse. I had a dream about my art being in Times Square. I want to see my art on a billboard in Time Square. I’m going to be famous!
