Volunteer Appreciation Month – Brooklyn Klein

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, and at GiGi’s Playhouse we are so thankful for our volunteers! GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo is 99% volunteer ran in both programs and daily operations. GiGi’s wanted to take the opportunity to feature our wonderful volunteers and thank them for all the hard work investing in our program participants and their families!

Meet Brooklyn Klein! She has been a volunteer at GiGi’s for about four months as a literacy tutor. I enjoy it so much and have been impacted in this short period of time more than I have been with any other experience,” stated Brooklyn. She became invested in GiGi’s because she has always had a passion for helping people and absolutely loves kids. The children at GiGi’s Playhouse are such handworkers, they are so kind, and I have yet to meet a child that does not just absolutely love life. It brings me so much joy and I look forward to my weekly tutoring sessions.” When asked about her favorite impact story, this is what she said. “The student I work with each week, loves to play, and it makes my heart to happy when we have a good session and she gets to play before going home. My student is making noticeable progress during our sessions! She has the biggest personality and is so fun to be around. I cannot wait to see how far she will go in the future.

Thank you Brooklyn for  your hard work to educate, inspire and believe in GiGi’s program participations!
