Springtime at GiGi’s Playhouse is a season of blossoming achievements and joyous celebrations. It’s a time when we honor the concept of “best of all” – a guiding principle that encourages continual, measurable improvement.

At GiGi’s Playhouse, our mission is to celebrate each learner’s best of all moments through purposeful programs that nurture growth from the prenatal stage through adulthood. We focus on developing specific skills and fostering areas of development, pushing boundaries to help individuals gain independence. It might be challenging to keep your child active and engaged, but it’s vital to keep them happy, healthy, and confident. This spring, we’re excited to spotlight three exceptional individuals who embody the spirit of best of all.

Aaron A: Our Spring Best of All

We are thrilled to announce Aaron A. as our April Best of All! Aaron consistently brings contagious energy to every gathering, infusing our events with enthusiasm and a zest for fun. Whether he’s participating in Fantastic Friends or getting active at Friends, Fun, and Fitness, Aaron’s upbeat demeanor and readiness to engage uplift everyone around him. His willingness to lend a hand is greatly appreciated by both our staff and volunteers. Aaron’s warm and welcoming presence makes him the face everyone looks forward to seeing at our events. Cheers to Aaron for embodying the spirit of inclusivity and joy!

Sydney: Our Volunteer Spotlight

We are delighted to shine the volunteer spotlight on Sydney! Over the past year, Sydney has been a dedicated one-on-one tutor. This session, she faced the challenge of bringing out the best of all in her student, an adult participant who is very shy and does not always use her voice to communicate. Sydney had to think creatively to help her student open up. She discovered that incorporating sports and movement as reinforcers into her lessons was an effective way to encourage her student to use her voice and say the sight words. Sydney’s innovative approach shows that tutoring doesn’t always need to happen in a classroom. Thank you, Sydney, for your exceptional dedication and for providing quality literacy sessions!

Heather Lorenzen: Our Proud Executive Director

We are immensely proud to celebrate our Executive Director, Heather Lorenzen! Heather recently graduated from the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce Leadership program. As part of her program, Heather and her group completed a community change project that taught English to students through theatre, yielding incredible results. Heather, we couldn’t be prouder of your accomplishments and can’t wait to see the amazing things you continue to achieve!
