We love our participants at GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo! And, each month, we get to highlight one participant as our Best of All! The Best of All participant has shown us dedication, growth, and progress. They show up every day, ready to take on the world with a smile.
This month, we’re spotlighting Alec —also known as Hammer! Congratulations, Alec!
Tell us about yourself!
My name is Alec (my nickname is Hammer) and I am 25 years old. I live with my parents and have an older brother, Andrew. I love hanging out with him at his apartment playing video games or watching a movie. I also love sports, especially Sioux hockey, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Minnesota Twins. I love having friends over to watch games on TV and my favorite part may be the snacks!
What programs do you participate in at GiGi’s?
I participate in GiGiFIT Adult and GiGi’s Kitchen Adult. GiGiFIT pushes me to keep fitness a part of my routine. GiGi’s Kitchen encourages me to participate in meal preparation and how fun it can be.
What do you enjoy most about coming to GiGi’s Playhouse?
I love that everyone is so welcoming to me at GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo and it is always fun to see my friends. Staff and volunteers are all amazing at GiGi’s.
What’s a favorite or special memory you have at GiGi’s Playhouse?
I enjoyed the group activity at Suite Shots so much and watching the movie Elf with my friends at GiGi’s!! I also enjoy GiGiFIT as our instructor Carlos pushes me to the limit while also making class fun for everyone.
What are you celebrating right now?
I am not celebrating anything right now since the Vikings lost but I am looking forward to the Super Bowl! You could say I am looking forward to celebrating spring as I can’t wait for warmer weather. I ask my mom every day when it will be warmer outside.
