Thank You, Sujay: Celebrating an Incredible Internship Journey

As Sujay’s internship with GiGi’s Playhouse Detroit comes to a close, we want to take a moment to celebrate his growth, contributions, and the lasting impact he has made within our Playhouse community.

During his time with us, Sujay embraced every opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute. His internship was filled with meaningful skill-building—from practicing patience and focus to strengthening independence, task completion, and teamwork. Sujay consistently showed dedication to his work and a genuine desire to support those around him.

In his role as Marketing and Social Media Intern, Sujay gained hands-on experience across a wide range of projects. He helped update calendars, organize and shelve books, laminate materials, film and edit Playhouse videos, and assist with interviews. One thing that stood out to our team was Sujay’s initiative—once he completed his tasks, he always checked in to see where else he could help. His willingness to step in wherever needed truly embodied the spirit of teamwork that defines GiGi’s Playhouse.

One of Sujay’s favorite and most memorable experiences was working alongside Luke Voelker Committee Outreach Lead, during a visit to Detroit Lions Training Camp. While there, Sujay filmed a video and conducted an interview with one of the cheerleaders, explored the training facilities, watched the players in action, and viewed signed jerseys. It was an exciting, hands-on opportunity that blended his interests in media, storytelling, and community engagement—and one he’ll carry with him moving forward.

Sujay also shared heartfelt gratitude for the staff at GiGi’s Playhouse Detroit for welcoming him so warmly and supporting him throughout his internship. A special thank you was extended to Samantha for interviewing him, offering ongoing support, and introducing him to the Playhouse community. These relationships helped shape an experience that was both professionally impactful and personally meaningful.

As Sujay looks ahead, he is excited to pursue full-time opportunities in marketing and social media. He is passionate about building a long-term career in this field and continuing to grow through creative and strategic work. We have no doubt that his dedication, curiosity, and positive attitude will serve him well in whatever comes next.

Sujay, thank you for everything you brought to GiGi’s Playhouse Detroit. We are so proud of you and wish you the very best in your next endeavors—you’ll always be part of our Playhouse family.
