GiGi’s Playhouse Denver Receives City of Lakewood, Mayor’s Inspiration Award 2023

During the City of Lakewood’s September 25 City Council meeting, GiGi’s Playhouse Denver received an award in recognition of “A Reflection of Growth.”

Accepting the award on behalf of the Denver Playhouse board of managers, volunteers, donors, sponsors and funding foundations was Executive Director Leslie Klane. “It is an honor to represent the many people who have contributed to the continued growth of the Denver Playhouse thereby enabling us to make a difference in the lives of those with Down syndrome and their families,” said Klane.

Hanging on a wall inside Lakewood’s Civic Center South is a plaque recognizing GiGi’s Playhouse Denver.
