Milt’s BBQ selects GiGi’s to be Charity of the Month for April

We are so excited to announce that Milt’s BBQ For the Perplexed has named GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago as it’s April Charity of the Month Partner.   You can read more about Milt’s below.   Make sure to stop by Milt’s in your GiGi’s swag and send us a photo!  We’ll share on social media and you could win a prize!

What is Milt’s BBQ?

Milt’s mission is to nourish both the body and the mind, and to support community and conversation.  Located in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood at 3411 N. Broadway, they serve elegantly casual food.  From the highest quality Kosher meats, in-house smoked meats, and vegetarian options, there is something for everyone.

In the Fall of 2017, they opened a deli adjacent to Milt’s BBQ called Milt’s Extra Innings.  Milt’s Extra Innings provided convenient, delicious food that offers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities meaningful employment. Recently, they had to make a tough decision to end Milt’s Extra Innings in it’s current form.   Their last day was March 17th but they are not gone, just re-grouping to figure out what’s the next chapter.   You can read more about Milt’s Extra Innings on their website.

THANK YOU to Milt’s BBQ For the Perplexed for supporting GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago and for all of your work helping those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.   We can’t wait to stop in and visit!
