Welcome, Bea!

Written by Bea Balaga

Hi there! My name is Bea, and I’m a student from Wright College pursuing an Occupational Therapy Assistant degree. I’m thrilled to be starting my final fieldwork placement at GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago. During my eight-week stay, I’ll be tutoring math and literacy and taking on the role of a program leader for the kitchen and teen/adult programs. I’m looking forward to contributing to the team, gaining hands-on experience, and making a positive impact on the community.

When I’m not studying or working, you can find me relaxing at home with a good movie or TV show. I’m also a passionate traveler and love exploring the vibrant city of Chicago. If you have any recommendations for must-see spots or hidden gems, I’d love to hear them! Come say hi! Let’s chat and have some fun.
