Ways to Celebrate on World Down Syndrome Day

11:30am – 12:30pm – Yoga with Patti and GiGi’s Young Adults

Join us for a special yoga flow on World Down Syndrome Day, Sunday, March 21st from 11:30am-12:30pm! The yoga session will be led by our Playhouse young adults and yoga program leader Patti. Please consider a suggested donation of $35 to attend. With this donation, you will receive one of our GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago sweatshirts! 2:00pm – LIVE Virtual Performance from Hugo’s Elvis

Dust off your blue suede shoes and push aside your living room furniture because Hugo’s Elvis is back for another electric World Down Syndrome Day performance! Tune in to the LIVE performance that will be streamed on our GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago Facebook and Instagram pages on Sunday, March 21st at 2:00pm!

GiGi’s makes me…

We are asking all our participants, volunteers and families to complete the sentence, “GiGi’s make me…” We started this new World Down Syndrome Day tradition last year with the hopes to create a wall of inspiration to have up at the Playhouse! You can either email your finished sentences to chicago@gigisplayhouse.org or share your responses on social media with the hashtag #gigismakesme and we will add them to our wall.

Make A Donation to Receive A Chicago Playhouse Sweatshirt

This year, in honor of World Down Syndrome Day we are doing a special donation event for the month of March ending on March 31st. You will receive our newest GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago sweatshirt by donating $35 for an adult size, or $30 for a youth size. There is no sweatshirt limit, so the more you donate, the more sweatshirts you will receive for yourself and your loved ones!
