Upcoming Schedule of Events
(Chicago Style)

Good Morning, GiGi’s Chicago Families.

We all know iPads are great for learning, but sorting through the multitude of Apps and programs can be daunting.

In partnership with the Belle Center, we’re offering a free seminar/learning session on July 11 at 7 p.m. about using an iPad (and iPhone and iPod Touch) for special education, speech, social, organizational and other therapeutic applications.

Assistive Technology blogger (and Morton Grove special education teacher) Patrick Black will give tips about the best Apps to aid in development and education. If you have a device (or are thinking about buying one), this is the class for you. There are only a few spaces left, so if you haven’t RSVP’d, do so today by sending us an e-mail.

And don’t forget, ABC 7 is coming on Friday, July 1, at about 9:30 to do a story on us. Come on in.

Thank you!

If you see one, snap a photo, e-mail us and tell us the location. (So far we’ve heard of them at Lawrence and Cicero; Montrose and Richmond, and at the Armitage entrance to the Kennedy.
