Lots happening at GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago!

Let’s Learn Some Math!!!
Math is a tough subject to learn. Think about how hard it is to explain the concept of “more” to someone who’s never really understood it. Luckily, we can help. After a few months of success on a smaller scale, we’re ready to expand our one-on-one math tutoring programs. Open to kids with Down syndrome 4 and up, our math program is geared specifically for the way people with Down syndrome learn. We’re looking for both students and tutors for our 10-week spring session (which runs from April 8 through June 18; we’ll also have a tutor training session on Thursday, March 14 from 7 – 8 p.m.).If you’re interested in either enrolling as a student or tutor, email us to get the ball rolling at gigisplayhouse.org or call 773.583.PLAY (7529) .

Plan a Spa Day to benefit GiGi’s at Rock Candy Salon & Spa!
In Honor of World Down Syndrome Day (3/21), our friends at Rock Candy Salon and Spa (you may remember them from the anniversary party) are offering a promotion through which a portion of their proceeds all next week will be donated to GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago.
Stop in for an afternoon of pampering with your kids, schedule a haircut or get some supplies. Give them a call now(773.883.3000) to schedule your time. Tell them GiGi’s sent you, and thank them for their support.

Also for World Down Syndrome Day …

Make sure you check out GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago’s Facebook Fan Page! Throughout the day we will post pictures of local kids for you to share with friends and family. Help spreak awareness and help us get more likes on Facebook!
