ABC 7 Coming To GiGi’s Chicago!!!

Good Morning, GiGi’s Chicago Families.Hey everyone, great news!!! ABC 7 News is coming to GiGi’s Playhouse in Chicago next week to do a story on us, the programs we offer and the awareness we’re raising.We’d love to have a big turnout of families there to show off the playhouse and the programs (and our renovations). They’re scheduled to arrive at about 9:30 on Friday, July 1. If you can make it, we’d love to have some families there ready when they arrive (meaning, show up at 9ish — we’ll bring the donuts). They also would like the names of people who might be there, so if you can make it, send us a quick e-mail.

This is a great chance for us to tout our Literacy and Drama programs, and to talk about our upcoming Math and Fine Motor Skills programs coming this fall.

5K and Ribfest: Thanks  

A huge Thank You to everyone who came out for the 5K on June 12. Our Chicago Playhouse had a great turnout, and it looked as if everyone had a great time. A special thanks to our Chicago board members Sarah Koehn, Mike Brown and Nancy McDonald, who served on the organizing committee.

Also thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth at Northcenter’s Ribfest over that same weekend. Our booth (and balloons) in the kids area attracted a lot of interest from new parents, interested community members and volunteers. We’ll be there again next year.
