Participant and Volunteer Spotlight!

Participant Best of All: Whitney Parrot

Whitney has been working as an intern at the Playhouse. She
has been so helpful in organizing, filing, decorating, and so much more. She spends several
hours each visit working alongside our UNCC social work interns on top of attending regular programming and literacy tutoring. Whitney is practicing her reading, social skills, and life skills at each visit and we have seen a huge improvement in her speech and literacy skills. We are so proud of all
her hard work and dedication.

Volunteer Spotlight: Ashley Hough
Ashley has been a literacy tutor for several years now for Isabella Correa and their relationship continues to grow. Ashley has shown such dedication to Isabella as well as a passion for all that GiGi’s Playhouse stands for. We are so grateful to have volunteers that are as dedicated, consistent, and bubbly as Ashley.
