Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Sharon Pohl and Kristie Chisholm

We are thrilled to shine the spotlight on Sharon Pohl and Kristie Chisholm, our dedicated GiGiFIT Program Leads! Sharon and Kristie bring immense passion and expertise to the GiGiFIT programs, which are designed to address common challenges faced by individuals with Down syndrome, such as hypotonia, excessive joint laxity, and decreased balance.

Every GiGiFIT program is safe, effective, and progressive, helping participants build strength, endurance, power, joint stability, balance, and movement control. Under the guidance of Sharon and Kristie, participants are empowered to be more independent and confident in their abilities, while also improving their overall health and wellness.

Sharon and Kristie’s commitment to the GiGiFIT program has been transformative for many of our participants. Their dedication ensures that each session is not only beneficial but also engaging and fun. They truly embody the spirit of GiGi’s Playhouse, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.

Thank you, Sharon and Kristie, for your unwavering support and for making a positive impact in the lives of so many. We are incredibly grateful for your hard work and dedication to the GiGiFIT programs!
