Why Volunteer at GiGi’s?

For me, GiGi’s has been the best thing I didn’t even know I needed. I started volunteering at GiGi’s 5 years ago. From the first time I stepped foot in the door, I was completely in love. In the beginning, I stuck close to my babies at 2 and Under, and this program is still near and dear to my heart…I love my babies. However, as the years have gone on, I have branched out into multiple other programs. Now, I volunteer EVERY chance that I can. I seriously cannot get enough of this place and the people I have met at GiGi’s! I have learned so much about the Down syndrome community and made so many friends. I am so excited about all of the new programs our playhouse has to offer and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for GiGi’s Tinley Park. I am so proud to be a part of this organization and I will continue to spread awareness every single chance that I get.
