Emily’s Story
By Mom, Laurie

The day I found out about Emily’s Down syndrome was very scary. The moment I connected with Beth and Diane at GiGi’s Playhouse Tinley Park, I knew we were going to be okay. I was welcomed with open arms and it was an instant family. They supported us in every way imaginable!

Moving forward, I’m so hopeful for Emily’s future. I’m honored to be a part of the lucky few. Emily has taught us so much and she fits into our family like she was always meant to. Her big brother is particularly fond of her and we are truly lucky to call her ours!
