3 Questions with Volunteer Anna Sullivan

1) How are you connected to GiGi’s Playhouse Tinley Park?

I first got involved in GiGi’s over three years ago, when a participant’s mom gave a speech at the high school I attended my sophomore year. I signed up to volunteer the very next day!

2) What free programs do you volunteer for?

I volunteer for Fantastic Friends as well as the family take home activity bags. I have also volunteered at various events such as the annual Trunk or Treat and the World Down Syndrome Day Carnival.

3) What is your favorite part about volunteering?

My favorite part of volunteering at GiGi’s is forming friendships with the participants and getting to plan activities that I know will bring a smile to their faces.
