Participant Spotlight: Quinn McNellis
We love celebrating our participants at GiGi’s Playhouse Tinley Park!
This month, we introduce you to one of our adults, Quinn McNellis!
My name is Quinn McNellis. I’m 21 years old. I attend Homewood-Flossmoor’s VAST program and really enjoy it. I play baseball, basketball, and soccer. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, biking, listing and dancing to music. My favorites are The Wiggles & Big Time Rush. My favorite foods are cheeseburgers, pizza, and cake.
What programs do you participate in at GiGi’s?
Fantastic Friends, Friends, Fun & Fitness Adult, Achievers, and GiGi’s Games with Friends. I have also been tutored at GiGi’s in reading.
What do you enjoy most about coming to GiGi’s Playhouse?
Being with my peers.
What’s a favorite or special memory you have at GiGi’s Playhouse?
All the dance parties!
What are you celebrating right now?
Quinn Fest! My family started it because a person was saying bad things about me. Wanted to teach that being a good person will always overcome hate.
We’re so proud of you, Quinn! Keep making a difference in the world, just by being you!
