A Wish For Our Families Before Labor Day

Labor Day is Monday, September 1st. Some of our families are planning barbecues, beach trips, and a little extra rest. Some will spend the long weekend at home, enjoying family and familiar surroundings. Before the long weekend begins, we would like to acknowledge all of the hard working families – those whom WE call family at GiGi’s Playhouse Tinley Park.

Labor Day was created to honor the contributions of workers – the people whose daily efforts build, serve and sustain our communities. From educators and healthcare providers to grocery clerks, tradespeople and countless others, our world depends on the dedication of hard working people.

This weekend, let’s celebrate more than just the unofficial end of summer. Let’s take time to express gratitude – for the jobs we hold, for the opportunities created by others’ work, and for the dignity and value of work itself.

Whether you’re resting, traveling or working through the holiday, we hope this weekend brings you connection, appreciation and renewal.

Happy Labor Day from GiGi’s Playhouse Tinley Park!
