Volunteer Spotlight

My name is Hannah Przybilla-Oujesky, I am a third year Doctoral student at Texas Woman’s University studying Occupational Therapy and excited to spend my last few months before sitting for my boards exam at GiGi’s Playhouse Sugar Land! I first became involved with GiGi’s when my sister-in-law, Kristi Oujesky, began attending when the playhouse first opened. Since then I have had the honor to volunteer with multiple age ranges and experience the love, kindness and magic this population with an extra chromosome has to offer. This spring, I am excited to be assisting in programs at the playhouse for all ages, including leading GiGi Prep! Over the next 14 weeks we will be focusing on building confidence and independence with daily life skills while also improving communication and job preparation skills! I look forward to meeting all the families that walk through the door and loving on all of your participants!
