6th Annual Matthew’s Walk-A-Thon!

It is nearly time for the annual Matthews Auto Walk-A-Thon, and registration is still open! The Walk-A-Thon will be taking place on Saturday, October 5, 2024. It’s always a great event to walk together at the Vestal Rail Trail, starting at 7:30 a.m. On the Rail Trail Matthews will be hosting family fun; games and food for the whole family. Can’t make it to the Vestal Rail Trail? You can participate from any location your feet can carry you and help support GiGi’s Playhouse anywhere! Not available for the walk? Donations are also accepted and welcome!

The Walk-A-Thon has been a yearly event sponsored by Matthews Auto since 2019, with this year’s event being the 6th annual Matthews Auto Walk-A-Thon. Over the course of the 5-year event, over $210,000 has been donated and raised by Matthews Auto for children’s charities across New York and Pennsylvania. In 2022, Gigi’s Playhouse received nearly $26,000 from the event and over $33,00 in 2023. For this year’s event, Matthews Auto Group has committed to a donation of $10 for every mile walked, up to $75,000 across participating charities, and has agreed to match up to $25,000 in donations. We look forward to this year being our best year yet and can’t wait to see everyone on the trail!
