Volunteer Spotlight: Dora!

Back Again!

We are so lucky to have volunteers who come back to us after being out of the area for a while- it shows they can’t stay away! Last summer Dora lead our Art Explosion program, and this summer she will be around even more leading programs and volunteering as a Playhouse Assistant! Dora is very artistic and does a phenomenal job dreaming up projects for Art Explosion and also connects so well with each participant she meets. Here’s a message from Dora:

“Hello! I’m Dora, and I’ve been volunteering at GiGi’s Playhouse since it opened here three years ago. I love art and music, and I am currently studying biology and Spanish at Cornell University. I always look forward to coming back to my friends at GiGi’s when I’m home from school! I am so excited to be leading Art Explosion again this summer and seeing all the creativity our participants bring with them every week. ”
