Since opening in August 2024, GiGi's Playhouse Simi Valley has quickly become a vital resource for individuals with Down syndrome and their families across the greater Los Angeles and Ventura counties, providing free, life-changing programs and support for individuals of all ages, from prenatal diagnosis through adulthood.
In less than two years, the impact has grown faster than current funding can sustain.
While participation continues to rise, financial support has not yet reached the level required to fully sustain ongoing operations.
To continue providing programs at no cost to families this fall — and beyond — we're working to raise $100,000 over the next two months.
This is a focused effort to strengthen the Playhouse today and secure its future for the families who depend on it.

Inside our Playhouse, families find support they often can’t access elsewhere:
David, 20, went from quiet and reserved to confidently engaged in his community. Through GiGi’s free programs, he built friendships, independence, and even wrote his own book.
Lainey, 8 months, was first connected to GiGi’s before she was born, when her mom, Madisen, was navigating a prenatal Down syndrome diagnosis and feeling isolated.
Today, Lainey is growing up in a place surrounded by free programs, support, and a community that will be there for her... for life.
