"We are thrilled to share the incredible success of our Groove and Give Launch Party, which was held on Saturday, April 26th, at the Hive Market in Salt Lake City, Utah!

This special event marked the official launch of GiGi’s Playhouse Salt Lake City, and thanks to your support, it was an unforgettable celebration. Nearly $10,000 was raised, and over 100 people were in attendance to support our programs and the Down Syndrome community.

The party was filled with energy and fun, featuring a live DJ and a dance party that kept everyone moving. We also hosted exciting drawings with items generously donated by local vendors and members of the Down Syndrome community—your support truly made the event special.   We hosted a heartfelt dollar dance, where kids decorated their buckets and gathered donations from party-goers—creating lasting memories and making a difference. I mean, who can say "No" to our extra chromie friends anyway, right?

We were delighted to have local vendors like Lucky Ones Coffee, which employs members of our disability community, and Udder Rivals, offering delicious ice cream treats to all attendees. Thank you to Little Caesars Pizza in Millcreek for generously providing pizza for everyone in attendance—your support means the world to us!

We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the volunteers who helped make this event possible and to the Hive Market for providing such a fantastic venue.

We highlighted our “Believe in Our Build” campaign, where community members purchased bricks to be embedded into our future location. We will continue to take donations for community members to purchase bricks up until we open our doors at our new location.
