And the Winner is…

GiGi’s Playhouse Rockford was filled to the brim with gratitude to have received this award at the 2025 annual leadership conference! We are so honored to be recognized for our hard work, and we learned that though sometimes it may be hard, it does, in fact, pay off! We were humbled by the amazing introduction we received from our National Office, as they were presenting the award:

“The Best of All Award is presented to a Playhouse that quietly but powerfully leads by example, consistently packing tools and resources to do (almost) everything right, showing what it truly means to live the GiGi’s mission every day. This year’s recipient embodies intentionality in every aspect of their work. Their adult programs are thriving with outstanding participation, purposeful design, and remarkable outcomes. Every session is thoughtfully planned, every expectation clearly set, and every participant rises to meet it. Their space is both functional and inspiring, reflecting their commitment to creating an environment where everyone can succeed. This Playhouse does not just shine within its own walls. They are true team players across the network, always willing to lend support to other Playhouses and collaborate with the National team. They exemplify what it means to be part of the GiGi’s family. Their Executive Director is methodical, persistent, and tenacious. Her determination has not only elevated their programs but also brought the Amina Grace Speech and Language Program to their Playhouse, opening new doors for participants to find their voice. For their exceptional dedication, intentional growth, and relentless pursuit of excellence, this year’s Core Values Winner for Best of All is…GiGi’s Playhouse Rockford!”

We are proud to have a team of staff members who work so well together, picking up where the others need it and always getting the work done. Having our dedicated program leads and volunteers allows us to crank out the program hours that we do, and we would not be able to do it without them. Launching the Amina Grace Speech and Language Program this year is a prime example of everything we do – networking in the community to find the perfect partners, maximizing program hours as much as possible, carrying the load of the behind-the-scenes work so our programs and participants can thrive. And to say it again, the hard work has surely paid for itself. We are so proud of what we do, and we are so proud to be the 2025 “Best of All” award winners! Thank you!
