#GenerationG Moves Individuals, Schools, Businesses and Communities Toward Global Acceptance for All

You’ve probably heard that GiGi’s Playhouse, the world’s largest network of Down syndrome achievemnt centers is coming to Portland. Located at 8538 Apple Way, GiGi’s will provide FREE programs for families and adults who experience Down syndrome, any disability or none.

What you may not know is that GiGi’s Playhouse mission is larger than serving families with cutting edge programs that prepare individuals with disabilities for the world…we are working just as hard to prepare the world for them!

#GenerationG is a worldwide movement that goes beyond Down syndrome and sends a global message of acceptance for ALL! At the heart of #GenerationG is a pledge to be accepting, generous and kind to people of all abilities!

What started as an initiative to change the world one pledge at a time, has evolved into programs and curriculum for K-8, high schools and colleges.

Around America businesses are adopting #GenerationG as part of their disability Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

March 21, 2024, is World Down Syndrome Day and a perfect day to announce to Portland, Oregon that #GenerationG has arrived in the Rose City. We invite Portland to take the #GenerationG pledge here https://gigisplayhouse.org/generationg-community-page/ .

Let’s change the world together!
