Portland Runs, Walks and Dashes for Acceptance at the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge

Hundreds of runners, walkers and kid dashers turned out on a beautiful morning in June to raise awareness and support for a more accepting and inclusive community.

GiGi’s Playhouse Portland and its partners Down Syndrome Network of Oregon, Advocates for Life Skills and Opportunity (ALSO), FACT Oregon, and Wheels to Walk Foundation treated the community to an information-rich and fun-filled day.

Fifteen corporate sponsors and the peer-to-peer fundraising of 32 teams raised over $50,000 to support GiGi’s Playhouse Portland and its free programs for adults, teens, and children who experience Down syndrome or similar conditions.

We want to give a special thank you to our premier sponsors:

Thank you, everyone, for your support and participation in this very special event. We hope to see you all next year!
