GiGi’s Playhouse-Literacy Tutor Volunteer

Due to the demand for our Literacy Program and our desire to serve all who request participation, GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix/Scottsdale is seeking Volunteers for the Literacy Program which provides one on one tutoring for individuals with Down syndrome.  We accept individuals into the program who are 3+ years of age.  If you have a special education background and/or teaching background and would like to volunteer your time and talent, we invite you to be a Volunteer.  The commitment is 1 hr./week for a 9-10 week session at the Playhouse.  Day and time is set between the Tutor and the Student; whatever is most convenient for both.  Spring session run April 3rd – June 5th.  Training and administrative support is provided.
