Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler! (Let the Good Times Roll!)

GiGi’s Playhouse Nashville Down Syndrome Achievement Centers is pleased to announce the 2015 Music City Mardi Gras gala and auction taking place on January 24th at the Hutton Hotel. The Music City Mardi Gras Gala celebrates the many achievements of children and adults with Down syndrome, and serves as GiGi’s Playhouse most important and elegant fundraising event of the year.

The 2015 Middle Tennessee Regional Gala will feature guest host and MC, Tracy Kornet from Channel 4 news. Activities will include guest speaker Derek Young, a buffet dinner, advocate performances and speeches, a silent auction, live auction, music, a raffle, and more. This year we are featuring some incredible auction items including round-trip tickets on Southwest Airlines, Disney day-passes, and a week stay in Cabo!  Most importantly, the gala provides individuals with Down syndrome the opportunity to celebrate their achievements and show the world how much they can accomplish. Unique from other nonprofit organizations, simultaneous gala events will take place in multiple locations nationwide to celebrate the many achievements of individuals and families across the country and even in Mexico.  Across all of the Gala events, GiGi’s Playhouse expects to host 6,000 people in 17 markets.

Please mark your calendars, you will not want to miss this event!  Last year, we were able to raise over $80,000 for the Nashville Playhouse, and this year we hope to raise even more!  By supporting our annual gala, GiGi’s Playhouse Nashville can continue to offer free educational and therapeutic programs to the Down syndrome community, look for math tutoring and handwriting in the upcoming year.  So, let the good times role and purchase your gala tickets today!
