GiGi’s Playhouse Milwaukee is searching for vibrant volunteers to add their personal touch to events, fundraising, tutoring, and programs among other areas. Just 1-2 hours per week can create a world of impact! Your energy is the key to the growth and success of GiGi’s Playhouse, a place dedicated to fostering acceptance and life-changing opportunities for individuals of all ages with Down syndrome and other disabilities.

This year our Playhouse’s need for volunteers is greater than ever. With the continued expected increase in program participation and family events and our organizational desire for even greater engagement and growth – there’s a role for everyone!

Sign up for our Volunteer Orientation happening on January 24 from 6-7pm at GiGi’s Milwaukee! Onsite we hold monthly in-person orientations and our National Office holds virtual trainings multiple times per month. Join the Board of Directors
Community members, parents, educators, business leaders, etc. are desired to assist in guiding the future of the Playhouse. The board assists with the following areas of development: school, family or community outreach; events; programs; facility development; diversity; fundraising; grant writing; volunteer coordination; and gratitude. Board members share their time and knowledge about one area of their choosing to support our beloved community.
