We Asked, You Answered: A Summary & Response to Our Survey

Recently GiGi’s Playhouse Hillsborough asked our program participants to answer a brief 5-question survey about programming. This is what we learned…

Programming
Many of the respondents expressed an interest in art, fitness and music classes. We are in the process of working with volunteers to bring you these quality programs. As each program is finalized, it will be announced and posted to our online calendar. Coming soon, art & fitness!

Programs for the parents and siblings are also on their way, as are family nights!

To Answer Your Questions & Comments…
It was suggested that we host a drop off night so that parents could have a get together. Unfortunately, that is not something we are able to do here at GiGi’s Playhouse. We are not licensed as a drop center, and any individual under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

A request was made for a contact list so that Playhouse parents can reach out to one another. Due to confidentiality, we are not permitted to publish a directory. If you are looking for a specific resource, please feel to contact the Playhouse.

GiGi’s Playhouse programs are designed to work with individuals of all ages and levels of ability.

Going Forward
GiGi’s Playhouse is committed to our mission, which is to change the way the world views Down syndrome through national campaigns, educational programs, and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. We can accomplish our vision, to create a world where individuals with Down syndrome are accepted and embraced in their families, schools and communities, by working together. Together we can do anything. Together we can educate, inspire and believe.
