Together We Gave GiGi’s Playhouse Hillsborough a Voice

Thank you to everyone who helped make our first annual i have a Voice Gala a success! With your generous help, we were able to raise over $30,000, and 100% of the proceeds from the gala go directly into making miracles happen.  As promised, your dollars will help a child learn to read, a toddler to take their first steps, give a mother and father a chance to hear their baby’s first words and give our adults the confidence to strive for independence.

Kayla delivers her words of wisdom & inspiration.

Our keynote speaker, Kayla McKeon, is an accomplished athlete, student, and employee of GiGi’s Playhouse Syracuse. Her speech  demonstrated that individuals with Down syndrome can accomplish anything they put their mind too, and ended with the applause of a standing ovation!

Our dancers deliver the Uptown Funk!

The dancers from Chez Renee put on two inspiring & entertaining numbers, demonstrating the artistic and athletic abilities of the Down syndrome community. They brought the crowd to their feet and energy to the dance floor, which continued through the end of the evening.

Jason hugs his friend, and GiGi’s supporter, Gregg after he won his painting in the live auction.

The evening was such a great success, not only financially but in the spirit of the night.  Together we were inspired. Together we laughed.  Together we cried tears of amazement and pride. Together we applauded our amazing individuals and families.

Thank you again for your belief in GiGi’s Playhouse Hillsborough and for embracing us and our families. Together we educate, inspire and believe!
