New Executive Director

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Laurie Anne Roemmele as the new Executive Director of GiGi’s Playhouse Hillsborough!

Dr. Roemmele brings over 30 years of experience in organizational development, leadership, and nonprofit consulting. Through her company, PEQ, Inc., she has worked with more than 80 nonprofit agencies, school districts, and public sector organizations across multiple states. Her work is rooted in a holistic approach, helping organizations grow through strategy, evaluation, and culture building.

A proud graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Cornell University, and Fielding Graduate University, Dr. Roemmele has earned numerous accolades for her leadership, public speaking, and service—including recognition by NJ BIZ’s 40 Under 40 and induction into Bloomfield High School’s Wall of Fame.

With a deep passion for service, a successful background in fundraising, board development, and strategic planning, and a talent for energizing teams, Laurie Anne is excited to bring her expertise to our Playhouse. She lives at the Jersey Shore with her two sons, Mychael and Brian, whom she proudly calls her greatest accomplishments.
